हिवाळा आणि वाचन

हा हा म्हणता लंडन मध्ये येऊन आता १० महिने होवुन गेले. आणि आता it's the beginning of the famous English summer. ह्या विषयी आधी खुप ऐकले होते. खुप बोअरींग असते आणि थंडीची सवय नसल्यामुळे शरिराची पण हालत होते. त्याची प्रचिती येवु लागली आहे. विकडेस कसे जातात हे जरी कामाच्या धबडग्यात कळत नसले तरी विकेडंस जरा बोरींगच असतात. सध्या इंटरनेट आणि वाचन हया वर भर आहे. नुकतेच अनिल बर्वे ह्यांचे "११ कोटी गँलन पाणी" हे पुस्तक वाचले. जवळ जवळ १२ वर्षांनंतर त्यांचे पुस्तक वाचले. It's typical Anil Barve type book! excellent..!!
जवळ जवळ १२ वर्षांनंतर त्यांचे पुस्तक वाचले. त्यामुळे पुर्ण झाल्याशिवाय काही खाली ठेवले गेले नाही. पुलं च देखिल एक पुस्तक आणले आहे. त्यांच्या विविध भाषणांचा संग्रह आहे. पुलंचा नाटक, चित्रपट इत्यादी कलाविषयक क्षेत्रांमध्ये त्यांचे किती विपुल ज्ञान होते ह्याची प्रचिती हे पुस्तक वाचतांना येते.
ह्या पुस्तकांविषयी पुन्हा कधितरी....

"Aaja Nachale"- Good Movie!!

Yesterday, I watched "Aaja Nachale"- comeback movie of Madhuri! I was wondering why critics have given such a bad rating to it. I must say that it's a good movie based on the great concept with some great performance of actors and good presentation.

Apart from commercial things- art, drama, theater are equally important in life. This is the central theme of this movie. It's a story of the fight between 2 worlds- on one side, there are people from commercial, political, selfish world and on other side, there are people who love and enjoy art, music, theater, drama. It has been presented well with the canvas of musical drama in the end. The performances of each actor are good without the wastage of anyone's acting talent. The overall presentation is good.

The best part is the presence of Madhuri throughout the movie. There are very few actors who can carry movie single handedly. Madhuri is one such actor. She is equally stunning as she used to be in 90's. Her fans should be relaxed to the same old Madhuri with her charming face & smile, stunning dance performances and talented acting. She looks little old and matured but still looks very charming!

Don't look at critics comments and go and enjoy this movie to some good performances and stunning Madhuri.

Hats off to Madhuri!!

Happy Bday (originally posted on 11th Oct)

After taking a long break of 2 months, I have started blogging again! That doesn't mean that nothing has happened in my life. But it was local laziness that had creeped inside my body.

It's always a great feeling to share your B'day with the famous personality and I am not the exception. I share B'day with big B!! So- just 4 days before, I celebrated my 28th B'day! Well- it's another B'day- but still important one as the first B'day I celebrated away from mother land!!

I feel like becoming matured. It's the journey of late twenties which makes you remember your duties, your responsibilities. It is said that a Cricketer becomes matured at the age of 28! I guess - it's true. I am not the Cricketer but I can feel the saying.

Hope- that I will remember my duties and responsibilities forever and always live upto my own expectations. I guess that's the best gift I can give it to myself..
